
Professional Fruit Cake

PROFESSIONAL & APPRENTICE grades
Saturday August 16th 2025

One entry per registered bakery will be accepted in each of the professional and apprentice sections. All professional and apprentice entries must be registered online by 5 pm Wednesday 13th August 2025.

Each entry must produce a square fruit cake, NO ICING, NO DECORATION, NO PROTRUDING FRUIT ON TOP.

The fruit cake must contain separate portions of Australian sultanas, currants and raisins, any other dried fruit ingredients must be listed.

Inclusion of nuts must be listed.

Fruit cake can be gluten free AND MUST NOT BE DECORATED.

Fruit cakes are to be received at back entrance of Club Merbein (in Fisher Lane) from 7 to 11 am, Saturday August 16th 2025.

A free refrigerated courier service for entries is available from Melbourne and Adelaide.
