Amateur Plum Pudding & Fruit Cake

ONE ENTRY per person will be accepted in each section.
PLUM PUDDING

Each entry must contain separate portions of sultanas, currants and raisins. Any other dried fruit ingredients to be listed. Plum pudding to weigh between 800g to 1kg. Any added ingredients must be listed.

Plum puddings MUST NOT BE DECORATED OR HAVE RAISED FRUIT ON TOP and must hold their shape. Puddings in cloth will be accepted.
FRUIT CAKE

Fruit cake to be square and no protruding fruit on top and should have a smooth shiny surface no weight required.

Must have sultanas, currants and raisins. All other ingredients at the contestant’s discretion and must be listed.

Inclusion of nuts must be listed. FRUIT CAKE MUST NOT BE DECORATED.

Plum puddings are to be received at back entrance of Club Merbein (in Fisher Lane) from 9 am to 12 pm, Friday August 16th 2024.

The public event will be held the next day, Saturday August 17th.
