ONE ENTRY will be accepted in each of the sections.

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RECIPE. Vanilla slices will be transferred on to trays provided by committee. And have no professional guidance.

​

Amateur Open and 60+
1. SIX vanilla slices must be presented with a square or rectangular shape. (4 of the 6 will be judged and the remaining 2 will be transferred to a display area to enable viewing by the public on Saturday— (at discretion of judges criteria).
2. When tasted, the slice should reveal a custard with a creamy smooth texture and a balance of vanilla taste with a
crisp crunchy pastry topped with a smooth and shiny glaze/fondant. (Please submit recipe used).
3. One entry per person will be accepted. The amateur section must have no professional guidance.

Student
The Student Section will present SIX vanilla slices 4 for judging and 2 for public display (at discretion of judges criteria).

Vanilla slices are to be received at back entrance of Club Merbein (in Fisher Lane) from 9am to 12pm, Friday August 16th 2024.

The public event will held the next day, on Saturday August 17th.
